Open Access Policy

JBESM is a Gold Open Access journal. All published content is immediately and permanently available online without subscription, registration, or paywall.

JBESM is committed to the long-term preservation of scholarly content. We participate in the following preservation initiatives:

• PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Distributed preservation network for OJS journals, ensuring content remains accessible even if the journal ceases operation

In Progress:

• LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): Distributed digital preservation system maintained by Stanford University Libraries
• CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS): Dark archive providing perpetual access to preserved content
• Portico: Community-supported digital preservation service for e-journals
